After the grand success of Krishna Pushkaralu, the Krishna district administration is going to host an another mega event. The first ever, "Amaravati Shopping Festival" is going to be held in Vijayawada from October 7 to 28.
This shopping festival is going to be held in the lines of the famous Dubai Shopping Festival. Vijayawada denizens are going to have loads of shopping and entertainment. Retail shops, trade centres, super markets, shopping malls, etc, will be offering attractive discounted packages during the festival to the citizens. This fest could boost the State’s trade and commerce sector in a big way.
Krishna District Collector, Babu A said that, a coordination meeting would be convened at Tummalapalli Kalakshetram on September 22 to discuss the hosting of festival. He appealed to the traders to give huge discounts to attract the customers during the festival. The registration of shops for taking part in the festival will begin after the review meeting.
