We like to have a strong coffee in the morning every day. But Students from PVP Siddhartha Engineering College, Vijayawada tried something creative. They dipped their painting brushes in coffee and started painting images. This is a totally different experience for them.
Siddhartha College is organizing "Craft Arena" and as part of it women's cell of the college organized this event. The event was organised in collaboration with Pidilite company

Police Commissioner, Gowtham Sawang - He has become a hero in Vijayawada, the way he acted on the Call Money Scam and Illegal Liquor Scam. His moves to catch the big fishes, is appreciated by City People.
Collector, Babu - He is the crucial part in every development activity of the state Government. The way he has acted in the completion of Pattiseema Project and other land acquisitions are appreciable. Not only developmental activities, he has shown his mark in service sector also. Recently his work is recognized and he received the Computer Society of India Nihilent e-Governance award for the year 2014-15, for "e-POS system"
Vijayawada Municipal Commissioner, Veerapandian - He is the talk of the town, for making the city clean and planting trees all over Vijayawada and making city Beautiful. He also succesfully implemented changing of all the street lights to LED. They are many proposals ahead, which he has to implement successfully, especially the underground drainage system.
Let’s hope these officers will continue their good work and bring a good name for Vijayawada and make our city a role model. People of Vijayawada, request the government to continue their full support and free-hand to these officers.
Mastan Bee is a 64 year old woman, residing in Vijayawada and she was suffering from cancer. As per the doctors report, she can only survive for another 6 months. Her last wish is to meet Allu Arjun, her favorite actor. TV9 brought this to the notice of Allu Arjun and he responded to that and came to Vijayawada. Allu Arjun met her in her residence and fulfilled her wish.
Vijayawada Police Commissioner Gowtham Sawang went on leave till December 27th. Government has given orders to NV Surendra Babu, to take charge as Incharge CP of Vijayawada. Surendra Babu has taken charge and requested all the victims of Call Money to come and contact him in the commissioner office.
December 20th would be an opportunity for every Siddharthian to come and meet their alumni. Convenor of Siddhartha Alumni Association Bodepudi Amarender and his team released a poster on this regard. In this meet the students who have studied in this college for the past 40 years will join. As many as 1200 former students are expected to participate. The former students of PB Siddhartha College include, Devineni Uma, Chetan Anand, NV Surendra Babu and many others. The event will be held on December 20th from 8.00 AM to 4.00 PM
