An eco-friendly solar-powered boat was launched in the waters of River Krishna on Ugadi Day.
The solar boat, facilitating clean and efficient cruise, has been imported from China.
There are only a very few of such boats operating on solar power in our country. The 12-seater pontoon-shaped boat can cruise at a speed of 7 knots for an estimated range of over 35 miles.
The boat will be rented out on hourly basis for kitty parties and other parties by small groups
