Also there are many adventure games and other activities. The exclusive water sports at include speeding boats, jet skii, banana boat, bumper boat,  pedal boats, zorbing, water ride, boat ride and others.

The package are of Rs. 300 which includes a ride in a water roller, rifle shooting, archery, low rope course, wine traverse, zip line, climbing wall and spider web. Net cricket is available for Rs. 50 (for two overs) and Rs. 100 (for 5 overs). Water sports at the island include a speed boat, sea liner, jet ski, bumper boats and banana boats.

The fare of Banana Boat is Rs.200 per person. The cost of Swan Boat is Rs.150 per person. The cost of Jetskii is Rs.300 per person. The cost of Water Balloon is Rs.100 per person.

Recently Para Sailing is also introduced, which is a special attraction. A speed boat which can accommodate 12 persons will be used in Para Sailing. Each one will be given a chance, in the middle of the river. The ticket for each person is Rs.900/-

vijayawada metro PM review

This is a super surprise and a big boost to Vijayawada Metro Rail Project. Prime Minister during his interaction with all states principal secretaries spoke about Vijayawada Metro Rail Project. Prime Minister asked the officials to keep special focus on the metro rail project and expedite the work. As the project is being monitored by the PMO, officials are very happy that, the project would speed up.

Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) is intending to take Rs 3,600 crore loan from Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA). To take this loan, Center permission is necessary. As Vijayawada metro is in the PM's priority areas, it is expected to help the loan proposal get the Centre's clearance early.

In the same meeting PM also appreciated the work of EPos, through which public distribution system and other social welfare activates are done. Modi asked other states to emulate AP on this. Krishna district collector Ahmed Babu, who implemented EPoS successfully, has been asked to meet the PMO officials to present finer details.

Keeping in view of Pongal rush, South Central Railway will run a Double Decker special trains between Kacheguda-Guntur-Vijayawada. This will stop between Sitafalmandi, Malkajgiri, Kazipet, Warangal, Khammam and Mangalgiri stations on both directions

Accordingly, the train No. 02118 Kacheguda – Guntur Double Decker Special train will depart Kacheguda at 11pm on January 8, 9, 10, 12 and 13and arrive/depart Vijayawada at 4:55/5 am and arrive Guntur at 5.50 am the next day.

In the return direction, train No. 02117 Guntur – Kacheguda Double Decker Special train will depart Guntur at 7 am on January 9, 10, 11, 13 and 14,  arrive/depart Vijayawada at 7:50/7:55 am and arrive Kacheguda at1.45 pm on the same day.  

Likewise, the Train No. 02120 Kacheguda-Guntur Double Decker Special Train will depart Kacheguda at 11 pm on January 11, arrive/depart Vijayawada at 4.55/5 am and arrive Guntur at 5.50 am the next day. In the return direction, Train No. 02119 Guntur-Kacheguda Double Decker Special Train will depart Guntur at 7 am on January12, arrive/depart Vijayawada at 7.50/7.55 am and arrive Kacheguda at 1.45 pm on the same day.

The train comprises 10 air-conditioned compartments, with each of them having a seating capacity of 120 - 70 on the upper deck and 50 on the lower deck. Advanced Reservations for these trains are open.

Huge crowds of book-lovers throned into 27th Vijayawada Book Festival (VBF) at Swaraj Maidan (PWD Grounds). Being Sunday, the rush is more today, with more number of children came in. Childrens mostly are searching for story and comin books of their interest. The other reason is also because, there is no entry ticket.

It is a treat to book lovers, with local, national and international publications came to display their wide variety of books. Attractive discounts are also given on the books purchased and special discounts are given to students.

Kanaka Durga Flyover Updates

Kanaka Durga flyover works are going on in brisk pace. All the works pertaining to flyover construction are taken up on a war-footing basis. AP Transco officials have shifted 215 electrical poles and another 96 poles would be shifted in a week. Pipeline works at a stretch of 650 meters were completed against 700 meters, balance works would be completed in two weeks.

The most important 132 KV towers are removed by Transco in 44 days, which is a biggest achievement. There are three 132 KV towers and these are stretched from Durga temple to "Seetamma Vaari Paadalu". They have also installed five new towers successfully. A total of 300 Transco employees has participated in this operation, 24/7 and completed this successfully.

The entire distance from Ratham Centre to Durga Ghat on canal road has dug up and barred to public movement owing to the flyover works. The railing part of the canal from Prakasam Barrage has been dismantled to facilitate the works.

Soma Constructions, has taken up the project and it is expected to complete before Krishna Pushkaram, by June 2016. The total cost of the project is estimated at Rs. 447.8 crore. The flyover is going to be six-lane road that will connect NH5 and NH9 and it will have a four-lane road beneath it. Union Surface Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari laid foundation stone for the Kanaka Durga flyover on December 5th 2015.
