The 12-day long Krishna Pushkarams has some good news in store for the students. All the educational institutions in Krishma district will remain closed during the 12 days of the river fest, from August 12th to 23rd.
According to a GO issued on July 29th, all the educational institutions are being closed down to provide accommodation to government employees and officials involved in making arrangements for the Pushkarams.
Over 3.5 crore devotees are expected to visit the district during the 12-day-long Krishna Pushkarams.
A large number of officials from various departments have been deputed to the district in order for the smooth conduct of the event. In order to accommodate the government officials, the state government has decided to use the educational institutions, the order stated.
