Raja Vasireddy Venkatadri Nayudu is king of the Vasireddy Clan. He was born on April 27th 1783, to Vasireddy Jagganna and Achhamamba. He has just lived for 33 years and died in 1816.

Vasireddy Venkatadri Nayudu ruled over different parts of Andhra during 1783–1816. He was the first king who revolted against British in India. He has built more than 100 temples in Krishna Delta Region. The people among these are Amaravati, Chebrolu, Ponnur, Mangalagiri.

Vasireddy Venkatadri Nayudu, is the main King for the glory of Amaravati. Vasireddy Venkatadri Nayudu used to stay in a big fort in Chintapalli. He has shifted his based near Amaraeswaram, near Krishna River. He has started building a town in 1296 and completed by 1798. He has built a big mahal for his kingdom with name "Vaijayanti Mahal" and named the city as Amaravati and made that as his capital.
